Create With Me! Watercolor & Ink Tutorial
Let’s do something creative together this week. I’ve been really missing my own personal creative time for the past few months and decided that I just have to make time for it. Sometimes you don’t even notice that months have gone by and you haven’t created anything new.
As I’ve been building my online business this year, I’ve been spending a ton of time in the business and on the business. And I haven’t been creating as much as I’d like. Let’s change that and work on a watercolor and ink floral piece together.
Here is what the final piece looks like.
Here are the supplies you’ll need. I don’t use anything fancy at all! I paint in a mixed media Canson sketchbook that’s 7 by 10 inches. I really like these because I’m left-handed and I can move the spiral binding out of my way.
I use Princeton select round brushes that come in a set of 5. You’ll notice in the video demonstration that the one I’m using is falling apart. There is white tape all over the handle. LOL. It still works just fine.
My favorite watercolors are Koi watercolor tubes that come in a set of 18. I love the vibrant colors and the yellows, ochre and sienna in particular. I use them a lot in this tutorial.
With that said, let’s jump right into the tutorial.
Have fun!

MEET ANNE
Hi…I’m Anne!
My creative inspiration comes from a lifetime of observation. I grew up in Paris on the Place St. Sulpice and walked to school through the Luxembourg gardens. And that was only the beginning… Learn more by watching the video on my About page.
