From Doodles to Dollars® - Watch Lesson #1 Now!
Hi and welcome to this week’s blog. We’ve just started my free mini course, From Doodles to Dollars®, and this week, I’m encouraging you to explore Surface Pattern Design by joining us. To wet your appetite, I’m showing you the replay of lesson 1. This is the last time I’m offering this free mini course in 2021 and it is not too late for you to join us.
You don’t need to be Picasso to make a beautiful & saleable pattern. In the video, you’ll notice that some of my patterns are made of simple, imaginary flowers, while another pattern you’ll see is just an arrangement of dots and lines!
Simple sketches like these also let you focus on the process of transforming sketches into patterns in Adobe Illustrator. I’ll map out the path you’ll take to create a pattern when you sign up for Doodles so that you achieve success with your very first repeating pattern!
My aim is to make things as easy as possible for you, so I’ve provided very detailed guides that break down every task step-by-step.
