Doodles Coaching Week Starts Wednesday!
Well, hello there, my friend. If you have been around these parts for a little while, you know that from time to time, I do this amazing training called the Doodles Coaching Week. I’m offering it again and it starts on Wednesday.
Let me explain why it’s so much fun and valuable. We’ll start by talking about the Surface Design industry, but the majority of the lessons will be super tactical, hands on training in Adobe Illustrator. We’ll get into the specifics of creating your first repeating pattern by following what I like to call my Three Golden Rules. This is my fool-proof method for creating a repeating or seamless pattern that doesn't have any mistakes in it.
I'm going to be teaching live, but since many of us are back at work either full-time or part-time, replays will be available during the Coaching Week. Everything starts on January 11th. I would love for you to join us.

a computer - a Mac or a PC, a Chromebook will not work and I’m not teaching the iPad version of Illustrator which is completely different
you’ll get access to a 7-day free trial of Adobe Illustrator
some simple Doodles or sketches
a phone or scanner, and
your enthusiasm and focus

In full transparency, I can’t possibly teach you everything you need to know about becoming a successful surface designer in just one week. LOL. But I can teach you the very valuable skills for creating repeating patterns that work.
