I’m Launching… The Doodles Digest!
I have something exciting (and a little nerve-wracking) to share—I’m launching my very own newsletter: The Doodles Digest! 🎉
I’ve been thinking about this for a long time, but to be honest… I’ve been resisting it.
Why I’ve Been Procrastinating
I’m actually a bit embarrassed to admit this, but my original goal was to launch The Doodles Digest at the beginning of the year. To be even more honest, the idea first came to me back in October—that’s when I grabbed the name and the URL, thinking: This is going to be amazing!
And then… nothing happened.
I’ve been procrastinating ever since. Sure, I had other priorities, but if I’m being completely honest, the real reason I kept putting it off was because it felt big and overwhelming.
We all have these ideas and goals that feel exciting at first but then start to seem too big in our heads. And when something feels too big, it’s easy to let it sit on the back burner, waiting for the “perfect time.”
The turning point for me? Realizing that done is always better than perfect.
So here we are. The Doodles Digest is officially launching, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
What’s Inside The Doodles Digest?
Each issue will have five key sections—designed to inspire, educate, and celebrate creativity.
1️⃣ Inside the Studio
A personal letter from me, sharing behind-the-scenes updates, creative insights, and reflections from my artistic journey.
2️⃣ Marketing Tips
No-fluff social media and marketing strategies! I’ll share what's working, behind-the-scenes looks at my own posts, and practical tips you can try.
3️⃣ Creative Toolbox
A go-to resource in each issue—whether it’s a favorite tool, platform, book, or course that’s helped me (and could help you too!).
4️⃣ Student Successes
A celebration of wins from our creative community—whether it's landing a licensing deal, entering the Spoonflower design challenge, or hitting a personal milestone!
5️⃣ On the Horizon
A sneak peek at what’s coming next—whether it’s a new project I’m working on or a course/program from a fellow surface pattern designer worth checking out.
I’ll mix things up from time to time and will always be looking for your feedback and input!
Why I’m Starting The Doodles Digest
There are so many reasons I decided to launch this newsletter, but here are the big ones:
✨ Deeper Connection – I want to share more than just social media snippets—I want to have real conversations about creativity, business, and the journey of being an artist.
✨ More Control Over My Content – Social media algorithms come and go, but my newsletter is mine. It lands in your inbox—no middleman, no distractions.
✨ A Place to Share More Value – I love teaching and encouraging creatives, but long-form content like this is hard to fit into an Instagram caption! A newsletter gives me the space to dive deeper, share insights, and provide more value.

MEET ANNE
Hi…I’m Anne!
My creative inspiration comes from a lifetime of observation. I grew up in Paris on the Place St. Sulpice and walked to school through the Luxembourg gardens. And that was only the beginning… Learn more by watching the video on my About page.
